Niranth wants to do more Tamil movies
Niranth, who debuted in a crucial role in the recently released Santhoshathil Kalavaram, is a contented man these days. Having dreamt of becoming a director and worked under a few filmmakers, producer Thimma Reddy saw him by chance and that landed him the lead role in the Kannada movie Lufu Super. The young actor says he wants to act more in Tamil after tasting success with SK.
“Tamil audiences are always receptive to talented actors irrespective of their appearances or from where they come from. I also realised this when people were appreciative of my recent work in Santhoshathil Kalavaram. I came to the industry learning the ropes of direction. But, acting also gives happiness. I want to act more in Tamil in characters that give me enough scope for my performance.” The actor’s second movie Kaarni in Kannada is out. Impressed with Niranth’s acting, Thimma Reddy, who is remaking Lufu Super in Tamil, has roped him in for the film.
