Sanchita plays Rajinikanth fan in Enkitta Mothathe

Enkitta Mothathe, directed by Ramu Chellappa will be released by Eros International across the globe on December 2.

Sanchita Shetty, who was lauded for her role in Soodhu Kavvum has her hands full with a spate of films in different stages of production. As she gears up for the release of Enkitta Mothathe, in which she shares screen space with Natty aka Natarajan Subramanian, she opens up about her role and the film.

Known for donning glamourous roles, the Pizza II actress loves to experiment. “I played a village belle in Kollaikaaran with Mynaa fame Vidharth, but after that, I got to play only modern characters,” she says, explaining, “In Enkitta Mothathe, I play Maragadham, a staunch fan of Rajinikanth. Right from the costumes to the bindi I wore, it transported us back to the 80s.”

Sanchita is all praises for her co-star Natty. “I am pairing up with him for the first time, and he is a natural actor. Rajaji plays my brother while Parvathy Nair plays his pair. The lead heroes appear as painters in the movie — I love painting. I even got to meet the artist who trained them for the flick. It was a great experience!” she adds.
