With Tamil Indie albums slowly catching up, young Manoj Chinnaswamy’s music video Heartbreaker has caught the attention of many for its relatable and topical theme.
Heartbreaker is the story of a youngster who is ditched by his girlfriend owing to his obsession with gaming. It is going viral, and has crossed 1.2 M views.
Manoj, an alumnus of AR Rahman's Music School, who has rendered Heartbreaker, has scored for several popular commercials. He came into prominence with his music video Muthazhagi.
“Heartbreaker has given me much recognition and the idea of how a guy’s love life is lost due to his gaming addiction is a hit among college goers. I want to try more indie music albums as it gives a lot of creative freedom to explore new stuff. I want to contribute more to the Tamil pop scene,” Manoj shares.
