We had reported earlier that Udhayanidhi Stalin is teaming up with KS Adhiyaman of Thotta Chinugi and Thoondil fame for a horror film with Kayal Anandhi as his pair. Now the makers have officially announced the film, which is titled Angeland is a romantic horror thriller with unpredictable twists and turns.
Payal Rajput, who came to limelight with Tollywood movie RX 100, has been roped in to essay the female lead. Sources revealed that Udhay would be sporting a new look for Angel. The movie has Imman composing the music and Kaviyarasu behind the camera. The film, bankrolled by Rama Saravanan, will be predominantly shot in foreign locales.
Udhay is kicked about his teaming up with Mysshkin for the film Psycho, where he plays an unusual character, steering away from his routing light-hearted rom-coms. Aditi Rao Hydari will be seen romancing him in Psycho. Yet another film of Udhay Kanne Kalaimaane in Seenu Ramasamy’s direction is complete and is ready for release.
