Speaking to DC about how they got Leon on board, Vijay Sri says, “My music director Leander Lee Marty has composed five songs for the film and he was bent on mastering them at Studio 301 Sydney, to bring an international quality. Leon worked on the song called 6 Adi Aandavan (sung by Naresh Iyer and Christopher Stanley) and it has come out well. All thanks to Leander for taking the extra effort to ensure he gives the best output for the film.”

The shooting of Dha Dha 87 has been wrapped up and the motion poster will be unveiled on September 29. “The story is set in 1988 and there is a connection between the year and September 29. There will be a clue in our poster and we hope that it would invoke curiosity among the audience. We are planning to release the film in January 2018,” concludes the director.
