Megha Akash, whose debut film Oru Pakka Kathai with Kalidhas Jayaram and her subsequent project Ennai Nokki Paayum Thota with Dhanush are yet to be released, has already wrapped up a third project -Boomerang with Atharvaa. The actress has not only shot for the film but also dubbed her own dialogues, all thanks to director Kannan.
Talking about his reasons for making her do the dubbing, Kannan says, “I feel that characters remain incomplete when others dub for them. In Megha’s case, I insisted on her dubbing her own lines because she plays a simple girl next door in the film. She has pulled off the role with such perfection, that I am extremely happy with the output. Instead of using a voice artiste, I wanted to utilise more of Megha’s talents. Initially, Megha was reluctant, but she carried out the task effortlessly.”
Induja of Mercury fame plays a pivotal role in the film, Bollywood actor Upen Patel plays the antagonist, and RJ Balaji and Sathish provide some comic relief.
