C.S. Amudhan’s sequel to Tamizh Padam will no longer be called Tamizh Padam 2.0 and the change in title is pretty hilarious.
“It has been pointed out to us that zero has no value and therefore we are dropping it from our title. The movie will be henceforth be known as just Tamizh Padam 2,” the makers have said in a statement.
Like its predecessor, the film spoofs Tamil cinema, politics, and even takes a pot-shot at the reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan.
The director of the film has posted a picture of a visibly upset Sashikanth and captioned it “Producer has seen the movie.”
Tamizh Padam 2 features Shiva, Disha Pandey, Ishwarya Menon, and Satish. Kannan, whose quirky music for Tamizh Padam made him popular, has composed music for its sequel as well.
