TN CM unveils audio of Vairamagan
It was received well by farmers, with some of them being part of the protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
Gopi Gandhi, known for his short films on social themes like Samooga Unravugal on blood donation, Kanneer Anjali on liquor addiction, and Pasumai on the Go Green concept, made his debut in feature films with Mudhal Maanavan. Now he will be seen in Vairamagan — a film about farmers’ plights with a backdrop of a mother-son bonding. The audio of the movie was unveiled recently by TN CM Edapadi Palanisamy. It was received well by farmers, with some of them being part of the protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
Speaking to DC, Gopi said, “Our CM belongs to a farmer’s family. He knows the problems faced by our farmers in our state. So, when I told him that the film actually hails farmers and their hard work, he gladly agreed to release the audio.”
