The director of Ko, KV Anand, confirmed that he has signed a movie with AGS Entertainment, and would be directing Vijay Sethupathi in it! This will also have actor-producer-musician T Rajendar in an important role. The filmmaker made an official announcement on Twitter — “Signed a film with Aghoram Ganesh Suresh. AGS. Excited to work with TR sir and Vijay Sethupathi (sic).”
We hear that this would be the 18th film for AGS, and the banner has chosen to work with Anand who directed their last outing, Anegan. It also looks like Suresh Subha would be the writer for this project and Kabilan Vairamuthu will be co-writing along with the veteran. One may recall that earlier, there were rumours that KV Anand would be directing Sivakarthikeyan or Arya for the same project.
Meanwhile, a little birdie tells us that this would be somewhat similar to Ko; the genre focussing on youngsters, politics and media. Shooting of the project will commence after April.
