Hrishikesh, who played the docile brother of Dhanush in Velai Illa Pattadhari, turns into an independent hero with the movie Rum. Directed by debutant Sai Bharat, the movie has Sanchitha Shetty, Miya George and Narain in crucial roles. Touted to be a heist-horror, the first of its kind in Tamil cinema, the film went to the cutting floor recently. Vivek, who was never a part of the horror genre so far, has been roped in too. Narain, who recently made a comeback with Katthukutty, will be seen in a new avatar, the producer says. Anirudh, for the first time, will be composing for a horror film .
Interestingly, if one may recall, there’s another film already under production, titled Rum, which is said to be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. This version features Trisha, Nikesha and Charmi in the lead roles!
