Sharvanand to reprise Sethupathi role

Speculation has been running high in the last few months about the Telugu remake of K’town blockbuster 96 featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. The names of a few Tollywood actors were doing the rounds for reprising Vijay Sethupathi’s role in the Tamil film. Ace producer Dil Raju had bought the remake rights and director Prem Kumar, who did the original, told this newspaper that he was in talks to direct the remake as well.

Now, it is being reported that Sharvanand, a known face in Tamil with films like Engeyum Eppodhum, will be playing the lead in the Telugu remake of 96. Efforts are also being made to bring Trisha on board.
