Though many television anchors try their luck in big screen as a hero, only few of them like Sivakarthikeyan, Santhanam among others have been successful. After comedian Jagan, who turned hero recently, yet another television actor, Lollu Sabha Jeeva, who was seen in supporting characters in films till now, has taken the hero avatar. Jeeva is playing the lead protagonist in a film titled Kombu, which has Disha Pandey of Tamizh Padam fame as his romantic pair. Ibrahim directs the comedy thriller and he talks about the film.
“Two girls die under mysterious circumstances. The hero, along with four others, comes to investigate the case. They experience some eerie incidents and what actually happens in the bungalow forms the rest of the story. I have narrated the suspense thriller with humour infused in it. And it will definitely be a family entertainer”, claims its director. Besides the lead pair, Pandiarajan, Kanja Karuppu, Swaminathan, Gayathri and Ashmitha form a part of the supporting cast.
