Many famous personalities like Sivakarthikeyan to Ma Pa Ka Anand to Prajin have successfully transitioned to the silver screen from the small screen.
The latest is Karthik Raj, a popular face in serials on TV like Kanaa Kaanum Kalangal, Office and Jodi No 1, who is trying his luck in films with a movie titled 465.
Directed by Sai Sathyam, Niranjana from M’town has been signed on to play Karthik’s romantic interest. Talking about his role, Karthik says, “The movie is a horror-cum-thriller. I would say the screenplay is the highlight of the film. It is fast-paced and one cannot predict what is in store. My character is an interesting one. Facing the arc light was not an issue, but this medium is totally different and I have had to cross several hurdles to come to this level.”
Sashank Ravichandran and Geff Patterson from A.R.Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory have been roped in for the music.
