Superstar Rajinikanth visits Raghavendra Mutt
KURNOOL: With the much hyped movie, 2.0, all set to release in 3D at theatres worldwide on Republic Day, January 26, 2018, superstar Rajnikanth is leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success. This includes seeking the blessings of Mantralayam Raghavendra Swamy. Raghavendra Mutt is a famous destination for film makers and heroes and Rajanikant is no exception. Earlier Rajamouli of Bahubali fame too visited the Mutt to pray for the film’s success. Rajnikant is an ardent devotee of Sri Raghavendra and is a regular visitor at the temple.
The movie 2.0, is said to be the sequel to Shankar’s Enthiran and fans are waiting eagerly for the film to be released. Wearing a silk dhoti and Uttareeyam, Rajinikanth went in a special queue line and offered prayers at the Moola Brindavan of Sri Raghavendra Swami, the saint who was the proponent of Dwaitha, the Madhva philosophy.
The star arrived at Mantralayam Ragha-vendra Swamy Mutt on Tuesday morning and spent about 45 minutes in the premises. He came alone, without any entourage, according to an insider. He said Rajanikant came without intimation and walked in the Mutt complex like an ordinary devotee. Later the temple staff was alerted and they escorted him to his holiness Subhudendra Swamy who blessed him.
