An arranged marriage for Aadhi

Aadhi is quick to divulge his wedding plans, without any hesitation.

Fresh off from the success of Maragadha Naanayam, actor Aadhi is a happy man these days. “More than any actor, the script was the real hero of Maragadha Naanayam. I loved the story when director ARK Saravanan narrated it. Everyone, including Nikki, Munishkanth, and Arunraja, did their best,” quips Aadhi.

His next film in Tamil, based on a real story, will be directed by a debutant. “We will make a formal announcement soon,” he says.

In Telugu, Aadhi seems to have a variety of roles. “In Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam-1985, I play his elder brother. It’s a story of bonding between brothers, directed by Sukumar. It’s an enriching experience working with Sukumar sir in the period set up movie.”

His next Telugu film is Ninnu Kori with Nani. “I have no qualms playing a second hero or a villain, as long as my role is a powerful one,” he admits. But, he asserts that he prefers Tamil over Telugu as he has grown up in Tamil Nadu watching Tamil movies.

Aadhi is quick to divulge his wedding plans, without any hesitation. “My parents are looking out for a prospective girl. Mine will be only an arranged marriage,” he shares.
