Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently shooting for AR Murugadoss’ Tamil-Telugu bilingual film with Mahesh Babu, is on some roll. She also has Vinoth’s Dheeran Adhigaaram Ondru with Karthi in her kitty. Now, the Yennamo Yedho actress has the opportunity to pair opposite Karthi’s elder brother and actor Suriya in her next.
Suriya, who is currently shooting for Vignesh Shivan’s Thaanaa Serndha Kootam will be acting in Selvaraghavan’s direction soon. This untitled venture is bankrolled by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu’s Dream Warrior Pictures.
Rumours were abuzz that Selvaraghavan had approached Rakul to play the female lead. A source says, “The team has indeed roped in Rakul to pair opposite Suriya in the yet-to-be-titled film. After Suriya completes the shooting of Thaana Serndha Kootam, we will be commencing Selvaraghavan’s film. As of now, the plan is to start the film by April end. This flick will be shot in Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and abroad as well.”
With this venture, Rakul becomes one of the few actresses who has had the opportunity to work with both the Sivakumar brothers. The actress sure has hit a purple patch!
