Kousalya Kharthika from Madurai has reportedly set a world record by winning the coveted title and a crore of rupees on Kodeeswari, an all-woman TV game show — she is the first contestant with a disability to win the jackpot. The show, on Colors Tamil hosted by ace actress Radikaa Sarathkumar, is the Tamil version of the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati? in Hindi and has a top prize of Rs 1 crore.
