If sources are to be believed, top actress Nayanthara is helping filmmaker Arivazhagan to find a producer for their upcoming female centric action thriller after she was thoroughly impressed with the latter's script. Though Arivazhagan told us in an earlier interview that Manju Warrier was initially approached, the bold role has fallen on Nayan. Apparently, Nayan's stakes have gone up after she proved her mettle in the women-centric social drama Aramm.
Buzz is that the producers, who had committed earlier, backed out for some reason and that is when Nayan stepped in and promised to find one as she has lot of conviction towards Arivu's work. And that's the precise reason the project is taking a longer time to go on floors.
One may recall the earlier reports suggesting that Nayan was the real producer of Aramm, although Rajesh's name was featured as producer on the title card. Thaman will be scoring the music for the new project.
