It’s a routine that Mahesh Babu’s Telugu films are regularly dubbed in Tamil as he enjoys a good fan base in B and C centers. His latest in Tamil Anirudh, which is the dubbed version of Brahmotsavam has seven lyricists from different walks of life who have penned various songs. While Samantha, Kajal Agarwal and Pranitha play Mahesh Babu’s love interests, the film has an ensemble cast of Revathy, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Thulasi, and Jayasudha among others.
Journalists Yuvakrishna and Thirumalai Somu, orators Ambika Kumaran and Pasikapuram Venkatesh, Doctor Karna and Mahendran Kularaja, a student from France and a budding lyricist Ezhil Vendhan have penned the lines for the songs. “All the songs appear in happy moments in the film and hence we chose people who are passionate about writing from different fields and perceive about their happy feelings in words,” writer Rajaraja tells us.
