Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is all set to make her directorial debut with a film titled Kannamoochi.
From the first look of the film, it appears that the actress who raises her voice for various wome’s issues through her initiative Save Sakthi, has settled on a female centric genre – the theme seems to be violence against women and the issues faced by them in society.
More than 50 women celebrities from different walks of life released the FL of Kannamoochi, which is bankrolled by Thenandal Films. Trisha, Khushbu, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Kanimozhi, Sangeetha Vijay, Sneha, Revathy, Suhasini Lakshmi Manchu, Andrea Jeremiah, Kajal Aggaral and Taapsee Pannu were among those who wished her.
Varu took to her Twitter and posted, “Finally stepping into this new avatar as a Director.. thank you for amazing wishes n response..I will work hard to do my best n not let you down..thank you all so much for the love..!! #overwhelmed #blessed(sic)."
