Prabhudheva’s former assistant, Shakthi Vasantha Prabhu, turns independent with Yaen Indha Mayakkam. The film has Della Raj (rechristened as Raksha Raj), Swarna of Maanada Mayilaada fame, and Krishna in the lead roles.
Talking about the film, Shakthi says, “It is a suspense thriller. A modern-day student cannot really live without a smartphone. The film talks about a bunch of college students, who indulge in undesirable activities through their social media accounts, and the repercussions become irreparable. How they come out of their dilemma forms the rest.”
He adds, “Through this film, I am insisting parents stay alert and know about what their children do on social media and their whereabouts. I have also projected how anti-social elements misuse the advent of technology for their gain.”
