Ajith’s upcoming film, tentatively titled AK57, is one of the major talking points in Kollywood. Fuelling anticipation, it is now rumoured that Akshara Haasan will be part of the upcoming film.
Speculation is rife that the Shamitabh actor would play a part similar to what Lakshmi Menon did in Vedalam. When contacted, Akshara refused to deny or confirm the rumour.
However, a source close to the film’s unit said that Akshara was approached and she is yet to sign the dotted line. The filmmakers are yet to officially announce the female lead and cast of the film.
The movie also marks the third collaboration between Siruthai Siva and Ajith. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music. Keep in mind that Akshara’s elder sister Shruti was paired opposite Ajith in his last film Vedalam, which turned out to be a blockbuster!
