Tinsel town was abuzz with reports that Gautham Vasudev Menon, known for his stylish and urbane scripts, will soon take on the antagonist avatar in his upcoming Dhanush-starrer Yennai Nokki Paayum Thotta. Sources claimed that SJ Suryah was initially offered the villain role in YNPT, but could not go on board due to his other Tollywood commitments.
After considering a few others, it was Gautham who finally took the call of plunging into acting in a full-fledged manner! The director used to appear in cameos in his ventures and has even voiced some of his antagonists. The film features Megha Akash as the female lead and Rana Daggubati in a crucial role.
However when DC contacted GVM who is shooting in Mumbai, he denied it as false rumours. “It is not at all true!” he said from the middle of his busy schedule.
