As we wrote earlier, Nayanthara who had back-to-back hits last year has gone on board for yet another female-centric horror film, which is being produced by Sargunam and Jhabak. Reportedly, the film has been titled Tik Tik Tik, the title of the yesteryear Kamal Haasan-Madhavi-starrer directed by Bharathiraja. Doss Ramasamy, a former assistant to Sargunam directs Nayan’s movie. Like how Maayavanam, the dark spooky forest, played a vital role in her previous horror-thriller Maya, in Tick... a haunted car is said to be the central character!
The movie will be shot at outdoor locations instead of restricting it to studio sets. We hear that Nayan has been paid a whopping remuneration of more than '2 crore for the movie, while the cast and crew is yet to be announced. A source reveals that the Naanum Rowdy Thaan star will undergo a makeover for the movie. Currently, two of the actor’s films Idhu Namma Aalu and Thirunaal are gearing up for release, and two more — Kashmora and Iru Mugan are under production.
