We already reported that Kamal Haasan is doing a cameo in Tamil fantasy comedy Meenkuzhambum Mann Paanayum. Now we hear that he will be seen essaying the role of a witch doctor, a pivotal part in the film. According to sources, Kamal, will be seen performing the rare procedure of transferring the souls of individuals.
Meenkuzhambum Mann Paanayum, directed by Amudhesvar, is jointly produced by Dushyanth Ramkumar, Sivaji Ganesan’s grandson, and his wife Abirami under Eshan Productions. Imman is the music director, and the film has Kalidas Jayaram, Ashna Zaveri, Prabhu and Pooja Kumar in principal roles.
A little birdie tells us that though the title might give the impression that the movie has a rural setting, the story is quite urban. It explores an intense father-son relationship, and has a fair amount of sentiment and romance.
