As first reported by this newspaper, Vikram is joining hands with Kamal Haasan for a project. Kamal made it official on Saturday through his social media handle now. He apparently wished his daughter Akshara Haasan would also be a part of the film. Besides Chiyaan Vikram, Rajesh Selva, who did Thoongavanam earlier, would be directing this film. Trident Arts are collaborating along with Raajkamal Films International for production. Rajesh also took to twitter to announce that Ghibran will be the music composer.
Meanwhile, after Meendum Kokila and Vetri Vizha, one of Haasan's yesteryear blockbuster movies Kakki Sattai will get a digital makeover and will be released soon.
The film, directed by Rajashekar, had Ambica and Madhavi opposite Kamal and was produced by Sathya Movies. Darwin Pictures is to release the digitalized Kakki Sattai.
