Short film director Vijay Paramasivam runner up at Mr South India

Vijay Paramasivam, a well known name in the short film circuit and the recipient of the Best Director Award for his film Room No 76, is now the runner up at the Mr South India event that was held in the city recently. He has also secured the third place in the Best Male model contest.

Vijay has directed 20 short films and had done several programmes for a popular TV channel. He is an avid traveller and has shot several documentaries for tourism board. Director Ameer who was one of the juries for the event has appreciated Vijay for his multitasking. “After Ameer sir came to know that I am a budding filmmaker, he was very happy and encouraged my efforts,” Vijay explains.
