Prabhudheva’s 2002 Tamil blockbuster Charlie Chaplin directed by Shakthi Chidambaram was the first to be remade in six Indian languages and became even bigger in other languages. The sequel to Charlie Chaplin is underway with Prabhudheva, Nikki Galrani and Adah Sharma playing the lead roles. The latest addition to the cast is veteran Prabhu for a prominent role. The first schedule was over in Goa with Prabhudheva and Adah Sharma participating in it.
Talking about the film Shakthi says, “It is a fun-filled entertainer. The hilarious incidents that take place during the journey of the families of Prabhudheva and Nikki who were to get married at Tirupathi and how things take an interesting twist forms the crux.” The director adds, “We are proud to have ace Prabhu sir on board.”
