On November 1, Gautami publicly announced that she was calling off her relationship with Kamal Haasan after 13 years. Since then, there have been several reports citing that the Haasan sisters — Shruti and Akshara — were the reason for Gautami to come to this decision. However, the Namadhu actress openly stated that the Haasan sisters played no part in this and cleared the air saying she wanted to move out of Kamal’s life and residence for her daughter Subbalakshmi’s future.
Then, rumours were rife that Subbalakshmi might be making her acting debut alongside Dhanush in Soundarya Rajinikanth’s VIP 2. Wishes congratulating Subbu were pouring in from all quarters. But, a source close to the actress quashed them saying that acting is not on the cards for Subbu right now.
Minutes after the conversation, Gautami took to Twitter to clear the air. She posted, “Ty everyone fr d warm wishes fr my baby bt its false news. She is focusd on school right now! No plans fr acting.” (sic),
