After making headlines for hosting a promo with cricket legend Matthew Hayden for the Tamil Nadu Premier League, Parvathy Nair is on a new high! She will play the lead  in an English music video for a popular TV channel. This song, composed by the Best Kept Secret band, will be launched on December 2 along with her Tamil film, Enkitta Mothathey.

An elated Parvathy says, “Best Kept Secret is one of the very few Indian bands to be recognised internationally. Also, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be featured on a famous TV channel which features songs from across the globe. The song sung by Behram Singaporia is a powerful video about women from different walks of life.”

About the video, the Yennai Arindhaal actress says, “I knew Behram from an award show and he is a pilot-turned-singer. Behram along with the production house ‘Do Creatives’ wanted Indian women who have an international look. Finally, my high cheekbones and jawline helped me feature in an international number. In Tamil films, people don’t prefer that usually. I had a different eye make-up in the video and I wrapped up the shoot in a day.”

Parvathy claims that the song will show the powerful side of women. “The song is releasing on the same day as my Tamil film Enkitta Mothathey, where I will be sporting dark make-up. December 2 is easily one of the best days in my life as I have two releases,” she says and signs off.
