Ace Kannada filmmaker Sunil Kumar Desai, a master of suspense thrillers, is ready with his next multilingual thriller titled Uchchakattam in Tamil and Udhgarsha in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Thakur Anoop Singh who played the antagonist to Suriya in Singham 3 turns hero with this film. Sai Dhansika and Tania Hope of Thadam fame are the two lead ladies. Kabir Singh Duhan who came to limelight by playing the villain to Ajith in Vedhalam will be seen as the main baddie. ‘Aadukalam’ Kishore, Shravan Raghavendhra, Shradhha Das and Vamsi Krishna are in the supporting cast.
Says Sunil, “The story revolves around a murder that takes place at a high end club 48 hours before New Year.
How the various characters who come to the resort to celebrate the New Year get entangled with the murder hampering their next move is narrated with a lot of mysterious twists and turns. The film has plenty of suspense, thrill, love, lust, betrayal and loads of action sequences.”
Bollywood composer Sanjoy Chowdhury, son of ace Salil Chowdhury composes the music. AGS Cinemas releases the movie on March 22.
