“My director Seenu Ramasamy gave Tirunelveli halwa to me when I performed well during the shoot of Kanne Kalaimaane. I consider it as a big accreditation” remarked actress Tamannah who essays the role of a bank officer named Bharathy in KK.

She adds, “Seenu sir gave me a wonderful role in his earlier movie Dharmadurai. In KK, my character is very intense and I am not sure if it would fetch me an award. I am really content and satisfied after watching the film recently. Sir has packaged the film with so many emotions. I am still having the character of Bharathy resonating within me. I have competed with Udhay sir in many scenes.” She also revealed that she and Udhay made the best pair and requested the latter to consider her when he is making his next movie.

Udhayanidhi was all praise for Tammu. “Yes, there are lots of emotional scenes in the film, which were easily performed by Tamannaah. Maybe, she has already worked in Seenu Ramasamy’s film and I was like awestruck looking at how she managed to nail it down in single takes many times.”

He elaborates, “The film is about what happens couple of good-hearted people leading a honest life come across each other. In simple words, Kanne Kalaimaane is a film about humanity and relationships. I am not bothered about the success or failure of KK, but I will definitely work with Seenu sir in one more film. I am sure this film will be a commendable one after Manithan and Nimir.”
