Bhagyaraj seems to have resolved to bring the roof down with his witty speeches whenever he attends any promo event. The audio launch of Aghavan was no different.
The director pulled ace lyricist Yugabharathi’s legs when the latter said he went into fasting mode for a week to pen the lines of Chevvarumaal song in the film to get the right feel.
In a lighter vein he said, “This idea didn’t strike me when I was doing my film Chinna Veedu . I should have undergone that experience, but I missed it! Nevertheless, I am planning to make a sequel to it soon.” He quickly added, “Jokes apart! I was just kidding. Though Ezumali has come a little late, from what I saw in the trailer and songs his making looks latest.”
The film has Kishore Ravichandran in the lead with Nithya Shetty and Srirarshree as his romantic pairs. Ezhumalai who had his tutelage under iconic K.Balachander directs the film.
