Popular host Divyadharshini, fondly called as DD, who is known for her performance in Madhavan-starrer Nala Dhamayanthi, is venturing into Kollywood again. This time, she is playing a cameo in Dhanush’s debut directorial Power Paandi, which is said to revolve around the lives of stunt men in the film industry. We had also reported that Gautham Menon will also be seen in a guest role in this venture.
Recently, Dhanush took to Twitter to share that he has completed shooting Divyadharshini’s portions for the flick. He wrote, “Filmed Dhivya Dharshini cameo in Power Paandi. She performed with so much ease and confidence. Very happy and surprised. Superb DD” (sic).
DD also expressed her gratitude for giving her a chance to be part of Power Paandi. Earlier, the Kodi actor also announced that he will be wrapping up the shoot of Power Paandi by the end of this month. The film starring Rajkiran as the hero will release on April 14.
