Basking in the success of his recently released Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, STR is having the time of his life. While the actor is busy with his upcoming film, Anbaanavan Asaraadhavan Adangaadhavan, he has surprised his fans and the film fraternity by announcing that he will be composing for Santhanam’s upcoming Sakka Podu Podu Raja, produced by VTV Ganesh.
Given the fact that it was STR who introduced Santhanam to the industry through his debut directorial, Manmadhan, it is welcoming of the AAA star to oblige Santa’s request. Speaking to DC, producer VTV Ganesh says, “All three of us share a great rapport and getting STR on board is a big advantage for the film. I am extremely thrilled to work with him! As people say, music runs in his blood and I am happy that he agreed to compose for SKKP because of the friendship he shares with me and Santa.”
VTV Ganesh also revealed that it was Santhanam’s idea to approach STR for the film. “Like how Vivekh sir agreed to act alongside Santhanam, we thought we could elevate the film by roping in STR. When we approached him, he liked director Sethuraman’s script. He has already started composing for the film which will have five to six songs,” he asserts. Sakka Podu Podu Raja also marks the second collaboration of actress Vaibhavi Shandilya after Server Sundaram.
