Gayathri Suresh pins hopes on 4G
Former model and Malayali actress Gayathri Suresh could not believe it when she was roped in opposite GV Prakash for her debut Tamil film. The movie, titled 4G is directed by Venkat Prakkar, former assistant to director Shankar. Produced by CV Kumar, the film also has veteran actor Suresh Menon and Sathish in supporting roles.
Opening up about her role in 4G, she explains, “The flick is a fantasy love story in which I play the role of Nisha — a sweet and bubbly lady. Shooting with GV was extremely fun and we have become good friends. I am waiting to kickstart the second schedule of the flick from January.” The movie was shot in Ramoji Film city at Hyderabad and in Chennai.
For Gayathri, acting was always her passion. “It was my dream to venture into films and I planned it in such a way that I complete my studies and then concentrate on movies. Fortunately, I have been getting good offers in Malayalam and Tamil. I want to cash in on it. Also, I’m waiting for the right script in Tamil so that my debut film will be remembered by the audience and 4G came at a prefect time,” she adds.
Currently, she is busy shooting for two Malayalam films — Nivin Pauly- Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Sakhavu and Tovino Thomas’s Oru Mexican Aparatha.
