Andhra Mess to hit cinema halls soon

The director adds that he has narrated the story in a new dimension, which Tamil cinema has not witnessed.

Despite coming from a filmy background and a potential hero material, Raj Bharath could not make it big in tinsel town. Finally, one of his long pending films Andhra Mess, directed by Jai, is seeing the light of the day. While Pooja Devariya and Tejaswini play female leads, the popular artiste AP Shreethar essays the powerful villain.

On the story, Jai says, “It’s about four underlings namely Varadhu, Ratna, Sethu and Richie of a gangster named Devaraj, who want to leave him for some reason. The important decision in their lives was taken at an ‘Andhra Mess’ and hence the title. They take refuge at a village zamindar’s house. The zamindar has a beautiful wife. Devaraj vows to take revenge on them and how they turn a new leaf in their lives forms the crux.”

The director adds that he has narrated the story in a new dimension, which Tamil cinema has not witnessed.

On the long delay, he reveals, “The film faced lot of problems in terms of its business. Someone else decides what kind of a film I should take. This trend will not help Tamil cinema to reach the next stage.” Prashanth Pillai of Angamaly Diaries fame composes the music.
