Nikhila Vimal, who played alongside Sasikumar in films like Kidaari and Vetrivel, has been roped in for Jeetu Joseph’s untitled flick starring Karthi and Jyothika in the lead as siblings. Said to be a thriller drama, the film has Sathyaraj essaying Karthi- Jo’s dad and Seetha, Anson Paul and Abhirami in key characters.

The Kadaikutty Singham actor took to social media to confirm the news with pictures from the sets. The unit is shooting in Ooty presently and Karthi has welcomed her on board, saying, “Nikhila Vimal joins us in Ooty today. Welcome to the team.”
The message was not clear about whether Nikhila is romancing Karthi in the film. When DC contacted Karthi, the actor confirmed that she is his pair in the untitled movie.
Nikhila, last seen sharing screen space with Dulquer Salmaan in the Malayalam comedy Oru Yamandan Premakadha, has Ranga with Sibi Sathyaraj in Tamil, where she will be portraying a modern girl and a CG specialist.
