Sanusha, best known for her role in Renigunta in Tamil, was on a long break from Tamil cinema. After playing a meaty role in Karthi’s Alex Pandian, the actress did a few films in Malayalam but none in Tamil over the past four years. However, she has now bagged a role in Sasi Kumar’s Kodiveeran, directed by Muthaiah.
“I was not taking up films because of my studies. I was pursuing my masters and did very few films even in Malayalam. Now that I have given my exams, I am hearing scripts. But I would like to take it slow,” she says. When asked about her role in Kodiveeran, she says, “It is too early to talk about my role. The shoot has just begun. I am doing only this film, but discussions are on for few other projects.” Sanusha will be working for about 40 days for the film and will be shuttling back and forth between Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
