Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal are all set to team up for a project to be helmed probably by the former’s brother Sanjeev who has earlier directed the action thriller Thakka Thakka. Interestingly, the screenplay of the movie is penned by none other than Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, one of the busiest actors in K’town.
DC had earlier reported that VSP was to write the dialogues and screenplay of Vikranth’s film in Sanjeev’s direction, which got shelved. To fulfil his promise, Sethu will now be part of the new film, said to be a sports-themed movie against a North Chennai backdrop.
Vishnu who shares a great bond with Vikranth over their common interest in cricket took to his social media handle to confirm the news. “Finally. Together. Official announcement soon @vikranth_offl :)#FriendshipGoals.”
The movie is expected to go on floors next month. Meanwhile, Vikranth is busy with films like Suttu Pidikka Uttharavu, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2 and Bakrid while Vishnu is awaiting his movie Jagajaalakilladi.
