With only one day to go for the much-awaited audio launch of the Vijay-starrer Theri, the filmmakers released the track list recently. Die-hard fans of Ilayathalapathy and movie enthusiasts were pleasantly surprised after they found legendary lyricist Pulavar Pulamaipithan’s name in the track list. The song titled Thaaimai (Motherhood) is touted to be a soulful melody rendered by Bombay Jayashree.
It’s interesting to note that the highly acclaimed lyricist is joining hands with Vijay for the first time. In a career spanning several decades, he penned the lyrics for many super-hit songs for stalwarts including MGR and Sivaji Ganesan. Looks like the song will be an instant hit once the audio releases on Sunday!
