The celebrated Kollywood couple Nayanthara and Vignesh ShivN has been travelling to various temples in the South, including those at Thiruchendur, Kanyakumari and Kumbakonam, to offer prayers before the commencement of Nayanthara's film Mookkuthi Amman, where she essays the goddess 'Amman' for the first time.
Recently, the blessings of Lord Ayyappa were sought at the Sabarimala Temple during Makara Jyothi.
A selfie of the pair with sacred kumkum on their foreheads posted on their Instagram account a few days ago is making the rounds on social media. Informed sources say it was taken before Vignesh geared up for his personal spiritual journey to Sabarimala. He also posted two pictures of himself wearing a black dhoti and black shirt as well as a sacred tulsi mala. "Swamiyae Saranam Iyappa!!! Getting ready for Sabari malai to witness the #magarajothi!#blessings #godisgood #godfirst #god #iyappan #swamisaranam #sabarimala" he wrote. The second picture was of himself standing in front of Lord Ayyappa's shrine.
On the career front, the duo will be working together for the actress's next, Netrikann, a film bankrolled by ShivN via his newly-formed banner, Rowdy Pictures....
