Mohanlal’s action adventure Pulimurugan, featuring Kamalini Mukherjee, Jagapati Babu, and Namitha, which created a record by being the first M’town movie to enter the Rs 100 crore club, is being dubbed in Tamil with the same title. Though, initially the film was supposed to be remade in Tamil, the makers felt that such scripts cannot be recreated and hence will be dubbed.
The big-budget film with a production cost of Rs 37 crore, directed by Vysakh, was released on October 7. It had garnered international acclaim for Mohanlal’s acting prowess, as well as for the film’s technical brilliance. Some of the high-octane stunts designed by choreographer Peter Hein for the climax portions were among the highlights of the movie.
Mulakupadam Films, which released the original, will be releasing it in Tamil in a grand manner. RP Bala will be penning the Tamil dialogues. Pulimurugan’s Telugu dubbed version, Manyam Puli, is already out!
