Another writer to wield the megaphone

Yet another popular writer M.R. Sathya is all set to direct a Tamil movie titled Ennodu Nee Irundhaal. A romantic thriller, the film’s director, Sathya, has roped in Manasa Nair from Malayalam as the female lead.

The director, known for his devotional writings and books on self-esteem, says he has never assisted any director so far — “I am a huge film buff and watch all kinds of movies, besides my passion for writing. ENI is a racy thriller and at the same time it has a larger message to the society,” says the writer-turned-director, who has also taken the onus of penning the story, screenplay and songs, alongside playing the lead protagonist.

Rohini, Anandaraj, Ajay Ratnam and Meera Krishnan are part of the supporting cast. While Naga Saravanan is the cinematographer, K.K. scores the music.
