Going by the way Chiyaaan Vikram is on a signing spree, it certainly looks like he has resolved to deliver at least three films a year. Now, the I star has signed a new film with Vijay Chander of Vaalu fame recently, bankrolled by SFF banner. We caught up with Vijay Chander who was initially reluctant to give out any details, but later spilled the beans about the film. “It is a city-based action film, and Vikram sir will undergo an image makeover for the film,” he comments.
Vikram is known for choosing quirky subjects and goes to any extent to change his looks for the character he plays. Talking about this aspect of Vikram, Vijay agrees, “Yes, sir is always ready for experimentation. My film is also no different. I can vouch that my subject is something which Vikram sir has not touched so far.” (smiles) Vijay was all praise for Chiyaan for giving him enough time to narrate his script — “After listening to the script, the legend that he is who can judge the potential of a story, Vikram sir gave his nod.”
About Vikram’s heroine in the flick, the director says that all other details, including the actress and technicians, are still being worked out. He, however, confirmed that there’s only one lead heroine in the untitled movie. One may recall that an official announcement on Vikram’s Saamy 2 under Hari’s direction was made and also recently, Gautham revealed that he would be collaborating with Vikram soon. Let’s wait and see how the Anniyan actor is going to surprise us.
