Studio Green’s announcement regarding the heroine of their upcoming Thaanaa Serndha Kootam with Suriya and director Vignesh Shivn took Twitter by storm. Minutes after the big announcement of having Keerthy Suresh on board, wishes started pouring in for the actress.
Since Keerthy is away in Australia to attend a music programme along with her Remo co-star Sivakarthikeyan, DC spoke to her actress mother Menaka, who seemed very happy. “It was a double dhamaka for Keerthy, as the makers, Studio Green, announced the news on her birthday (17 October). She had called me from Australia and was very excited.” Though she was not very forthcoming about what role Keerthy plays, our sources indicate that it is a meaty role for the actress.
About the film, producer KE Gnanavel Raja reveals, “The shooting of the film will commence on October 21, and the first schedule will be shot in Chennai. Suriya will join the sets from November 2 after wrapping up S3.”
Meanwhile, Suriya will be travelling to Georgia to shoot a romantic number with Shruti Haasan for Hari’s S3. Sources say that this song will be shot for four days in picturesque Georgia, after which the shoot will be wrapped up.
