Director-actor-producer Cheran says, whether he likes it or not, Rajinikanth will be made Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. After Superstar spoke about his entry into politics that ‘it is in God’s hands’, speculations are running high amidst press, fans and celebrities, debating the issue. The Superstar made headlines yet again when addressing this at a meeting for fans held at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandap.
Now filmmaker Charan has written an open letter to the Kabali star about his political entry. Wishing the Superstar, he said, “Your chief ministership is assured! In the current political scenario, you will be made a CM of TN! Beware of dishonest people!”
Pointing out that Rajini is a straightforward person, Cheran puts forth certain questions in the event if he becomes a CM. He adds, “You can never utter lies. Would politics, which is full of selfishness, corruption and deceitfulness, suit you?
There are many challenges involved like opposing Karnataka and imposing Hindi, freebies are a must; liquor shops should not be closed, among others.”
Finally, he advised Rajini to plunge into the political arena, along with the people of Tamil Nadu — “If you want things to happen, discuss them with the people and understand the problems and issues of the public.”
One may recall in an earlier interview to this newspaper when various political parties invited him to join them, Rajini had said, “Everybody wants me to join politics. I’m aware of its depth and danger. I’m not afraid, but just a little hesitant.”
