Nadigar Sangam's efforts against piracy yield fruit

Public awareness against film piracy seems to be on the rise, as a result of actors like Vishal continually raising their voices against this malpractice. After seizing Vijay’s Theri from a Bengaluru-bound bus, there’s news of yet another alert from a passenger to Vishal and Karthi, from a Coimbatore to Chennai bus that helped nab the culprit, who was screening Udhayanidhi’s recently released Manithan.

The Nadigar Sangam officials were quick in informing the Koyambedu Police and the Video Piracy Cell. Police raided the bus and arrested Kathirvelan, aged 36 (son of Kumaran), who was driving the bus.
