As we know, director Vignesh Shivan has teamed up with Suriya for his third film titled Thaanaa Serndha Kootam, which has Keerthi Suresh playing the female lead. The ensemble cast of TSK includes Suresh Menon, veteran actor Senthil and Ramya Krishnan in significant roles.
The shooting of Thaanaa Serndha Kootam is progressing at a brisk pace in a plush hotel in Koyembedu. Rumours were rife that the film is a remake of the Hindi film Special 26, which starred Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. A source close to the team reveals, “Although, TSK is an adaptation of Special 26, we cannot call it a remake. The core plot of Special 26 has been adapted, and the makers have made a lot of changes in Suriya’s characterisation. He plays a CBI officer in the movie and the present schedule involves a lot of character artistes. This schedule has been going on for 12 days in Chennai, and is expected to be wrapped up in a couple of days.”
According to sources, actor Senthil essays the role of a personal secretary. The film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Dinesh Krishna and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
