The first look of Sivakarthikeyan’s next film as well as its title Seemaraja were revealed on his birthday (Feb 17). Directed by Ponram, the poster has Siva riding a ferocious horse with a flag in his hand. The movie has Samantha Akkineni playing his romantic interest. Ponram has already given two big hits to Sivakarthikeyan, namely Varuthapadadha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan.
The film also has an ensemble cast of Simran, Napoleon and Soori. Sam will be teaming up with Siva for the first time and she is said to be playing a village belle. Sources say that Samantha has also has learnt silambam, an ancient form of martial arts from Tamil Nadu. It has been shot in and around Tenkasi and Madurai and the buzz is that there are a few period episodes in the film where Siva will be seen in a double role. Produced by RD Raja, Ponram’s regular composer Imman has been roped in for the rural action entertainer.
